In a recent interview, the rapper who has been out of the spotlight for long now gave his personal opinions on how he thinks the industry has fared, his beef with Don Jazzy, and his, he roasted D’banj.
Asked what he thinks of Don Jazzy, the rapper disclosed, ‘I love him, and you know why I love him? He has a drive. The biggest mistake someone like D’banj made was to be so stupid and leave Don Jazzy.
In this video of his Interview with GoldmyneTV, Mr. Lecturer crooner talked about D’banj and how Don Jazzy made him sound well even though he doesn’t have talent.
The rapper further said ‘Don Jazzy has the technical backup to produce D’banj and make him sound very 9ice. I love “Don Jazzy”]for that.
However, Eedris further stated why he had previously beefed with the Mavin boss, saying: Don Jazzy told Modenine says ‘if you are a rapper, your father will not be proud of you’, forgetting that it was the rappers that actually opened the way.
That’s where I had problem with Don Jazzy. Any other thing he has done very well, he has encourage boys, and I appreciate him for that because he is a very very good person.’
Imagine what D’Banj’s reaction to Eedris’ diss would be, it seems that the ‘Jagajaga’ master is sure bringing on all shades of jagajaga to the Nigerian music industry.
Eedris Abdulkareem has been a very vocal singer who has released songs to criticize the social standards of Nigerians as well as Nigerian Politics. in 2004, his album Jaga Jaga which was aimed at condemning to government of the time was banned by the former President Olusegun Obasanjo’s .
