Three Suicide bombers has reportedly attacked the University the of Maiduguri in Borno State, Nigeria
The incident, which happened on Thursday night is said to be the fourth time the suicide bombers has attacked the school.
The Police in Borno State has confirmed the incident, but said only the suicide bombers were killed in the incident.
Although, a security personnel was injured as he was attempted to intercept with the three suicide bombers who attacked the school.
A student leader in the university, Abu Hanifa Babati also confirmed that one of the explosion occurred around the female hostels.
A police statement read, “On 18/5/2017 at about 2350hrs, three male suicide bombers with IEDs strapped to their bodies, gained entry into the premises of university of Maiduguri.
“In an attempt to enter the female hostels, they were intercepted by security operatives. One of the bombers hurriedly detonated his IED vest, killing himself instantly.
“The other two bombers detonated their near a contraction site also within the proximity of the University premises, killing themselves alone. Three university security personnel reported injured.”
The latest attack comes just five days after a security personnel was killed when suicide bomber detonated his vest in the school.

On Wednesday, two soldiers were killed after a female suicide bomber detonated her explosives at a military checkpoint.
The terrorists have attack Maiduguri at least four times this week.
